The project site location for this new private power project is in the north west of Bangladesh, approximately 140 km from Dhaka, on the west bank of the Jamuna river, adjacent to Bangabandhu bridge. The site area is developed land currently owned by BPDB. BPDB will lease the site to the project company for a period equal to the term of the power purchase agreement.
